Bubba ThurmanBubba Thurman
President

Bubba Thurman has over 30 years of experience in leadership development, motivational speaking, and team building. Bubba comes to Berkeys after spending the last 10 years serving as the Senior Vice President at Baker Brothers. His empowering presence of encouragement is an inspiration to those he serves. Bubba is committed to excellence, while staying focused on the core values of the business. He is a champion of culture, providing a pathway forward for those who are dedicated to being the best version of themselves. His gift of communication is second to none. He listens, speaks with empathy, and makes others feel valued. Bubba received his education at McNeese State University and Dallas Baptist University graduating with a degree in Biblical Studies. He also played baseball at McNeese State, where he served as team captain and was named an all-conference player.


Bill BurlesonBill Burleson
General Manager

Bill Burleson joined Berkeys as General Manager in 2023. He brings years of experience and ownership from the Construction, Real Estate and Private Equity industries to the Berkeys Team. Bill’s service leadership encourages others to be the best they can be. He is creative and solution minded with years of building teams that are driven, flexible and growth oriented. Bill has been married for 39 years to his best friend, Traci. They have two adult children and currently have 9 grandchildren.


Trice MooneyhamTrice Mooneyham
HVAC Operations Manager

Trice possesses nearly a decade of experience in the heating and air conditioning industry, demonstrating proficiency across various business facets, including field operations, sales, and team management. His contributions have been instrumental in upholding Berkeys’ esteemed 40+ year reputation, emphasizing world-class customer service. Trice’s steadfast commitment to values such as honesty, integrity, teamwork, and respect serves as the unwavering foundation for all operational aspects at Berkeys. This philosophy has consistently propelled the company to be recognized and awarded as one of the foremost home services providers in the DFW metroplex. Residing in the Springtown area, Trice’s interests outside of work include teaching music, playing golf, and enjoying quality time with his wife and two children.


Mike HarrisMike Harris
Plumbing Operations Manager

Mike is a Master Plumber with over 27 years’ experience in the plumbing industry. Mike spent his early years in the industry honing his craft in the New Construction side of the industry. With a passion for serving others he began working for himself in the early 2000’s to allow himself the flexibility to travel to impoverished countries to serve others. In 2009 he joined a large service company and began managing and training younger plumbers and apprentices in the trade. Joined Berkeys in 2020 with a desire to lead a great group of managers and technicians in serving the Metroplex with Integrity, Respect and Honor.


Nick MartinezNick Martinez
Call Center Operations Manager

Nick has been with Berkeys since 2019 and has nearly 20 years of customer service experience. Nick has a strong belief in customer engagement by way of transparency, accountability, and communication. Nick oversees the customer service representatives, dispatchers, membership specialist, and customer experience team. He has instilled a philosophy with his team of being “special” and not “ordinary” that means bucking the stigma of quick to take your money and slow to everything else. Nick lives in the north Fort Worth area and enjoys spending time with wife and daughter, going on vacations with them and sharing new experiences.


Dana ThomasDana Thomas, PHR, SHRM-CP
Director of HR & Employee Services

Dana joined the Berkeys team in 2018 and brings 20+ years of HR Management, Organizational Development, Change Management and Mergers & Acquisitions experience. She is dedicated to innovation and to personal and professional growth. Dana possesses the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and the International Public Management Association for Human Resources Certified Professional (IPMA-HR) certification. She is also certified in Predictive Index and a member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). Dana has three children and she enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family, friends and church.


John RoybalJohn Roybal
Controller

John Roybal joined Berkeys in 2023 as Controller where he focuses on performance reporting. For nearly 30 years, his disciplined approach has resulted in a unique and noted career in the accounting sector. Prior to Berkeys, Mr. Roybal was the Corporate Controller at MedeAnalytics building the accounting team during a transitionary period at MedeAalytics. Mr. Roybal has held several positions such as Controller at Quest/ Atrion, a publically held medical equipment manufacturer and CFO of the Americas for Tranter International, where he was responsible for North America and Latin America accounting operations. He served as the group Controller for Standex International, responsible for several divisions located both in the U.S. and Mexico. Mr. Roybal also served as operations controller for Peerless Manufacturing also publicly held, creating performance reporting to management that emphasized areas for improvement and viability worldwide. Mr. Roybal also has served in other top management roles for pharmaceutical, industrial materials and consumer products and has converted financials for companies from GAAP to IFRS. Mr. Roybal was also a consultant implementing fully integrated financial reporting systems in the U.S. and international. Mr. Roybal is a licensed CPA and a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with dual majors specializing in accounting and general business also minoring in computer science.
